Ascend Aerials is 333 Exempt and we employ FAA licensed Pilots.

All airspace within the United States is controlled by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and by law, any aircraft operation in the National Airspace System (NAS) requires a certificated and registered aircraft, a licensed pilot, and operational approval.  Section 333 of the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 (FMRA) grants the Secretary of Transportation the authority to grant case-by-case authorization for certain unmanned aircraft to perform commercial operations.  The Section 333 Exemption provides operators who wish to pursue safe and legal entry into the NAS permission to do so.

Ascend Aerials has registered aircraft, licensed pilots, and operational approval from the FAA to legally and commercially operate within the NAS.
